Craobh Thráth na gCeist
Ghlac Kate Coffey, Brianna Reilly, Fiona Jacob agus Jane Rigby páirt i gCraobh Thráth na gCeist Feachtas a bhí ar siúl in Ostán an Ashling, Baile Átha Cliath ar an 11 Márta. Bhuaigh na cailiní an babhta áitiúil ach bhí na ceisteanna deacair go leor sa chraobh agus ní raibh an bua leo ar an lá sin ach táimid an-bhrodúil astu! "Beidh là eile ag an bPaorach"Is eagraíocht néamhspleach í ‘Feachtas’ atá gníomhach i gcúrsaí óige agus cúrsaí Gaeilge. Creideann Feachtas gurb í úsáid shóisialta na Gaeilge sa phobal an rud is tábhachtaí do thodhchaí na teanga agus dá bhrí sin reáchtáileann siad Tráth na gCeist Boird ar fud na tíre gach bliain chun úsáid na Gaeilge a spreagadh i measc na n-óg. Tosaíonn an comórtas idir-scoile le linn an Fhómhair agus críochnaíonn an comórtas i Mí na Márta leis an gCraobh Mór i mBaile Átha Cliath. Glacann na céadta foirne páirt i gComórtas Thráth na gCeist gach bliain agus ar an 7ú Deireadh Fómhair, chuaigh dháreag ó Choláiste Naomh Mhuire chuig Gaelcholáiste Chill Dara toisc go raibh Tráth na gCeist á reachtáil ag ‘Feachtas’ ann.
An Babhta Áitiúil
Ghlac trí fhoireann ó Choláiste Naomh Mhuire páirt sa chomórtas:
Foreann 1: Clodagh Nic Ghiolla Rua (6ú Bliain), Sinéad Begly (6ú Bliain), Ruth Clancy (3ú Bliain), Méabh Ní Raghallaigh (3ú Bliain)
Foireann 2: Jane Rigby (4ú Bliain), Fiona Jacob (4ú Bliain), Brianna Reilly (3ú Bliain), Kate Coffey (3ú Bliain)
Foireann 3: Niamh Bergin (4ú Bliain), Laura Fleming (5ú Bliain), Isabel Connors (3ú Bliain), Mary Creaghton (3ú Bliain)
Ag deireadh na hoíche, bhí bua iontach ag Foireann 2 (Jane, Fiona, Brianna agus Kate)
Tá Jane, Fiona, Brianna agus Kate tríd go dtí Craobh na hEireann a bheidh ar siúl i mBaile Átha Cliath i Márta 2014. Comhghairdeas leo, lena múinteoir Mr. Brogan agus comhghairdeas le gach dalta a bhí ann. Bhí an-oíche ag na cailíní agus bhain gach dalta sult as an gcomórtas. Bhí sé iontach an Ghaeilge a chloisteáil agus bhí an-chráic ag na cailíní ag bualadh le foirne eile trí Ghaeilge. Go n-éirí an t-ádh leis na cailíní i gCraobh na hÉireann.
