In showing exceptional leadership in the area of positive mental health, St Mary's has been successful in achieving Cycle Against Suicide Ambassador School Status again this year. On Friday last Katie Dempsey, Roisin Sheridan and Grace McEntegart accompanied Ms. Lorna Doherty to the award ceremony in Farmleigh where they received the plaque on behalf of the school. The girls are going to take the lead and form a CAS committee with TYs to keep the CAS message "It's ok not to feel ok, and it's absolutely ok to ask to ask for help" alive. In doing this they will continue to promote positive mental health in St Mary's throughout the year.
