All first years are busy bees making their patchwork cushions in Home Economics classes at the moment. We have all really enjoyed making them. We were always busy but the end result made it all worthwhile. We learned how to tack, sew with sewing machines, folding, ironing, pinned and some ripping and it was all really fun! Sometimes I worried that I wouldn't do it right but there was always help from my teacher. The cushions colours and patterns to choose from were beautiful. In the end I am really happy with my cushion! (Laura Kehoe 1F)
