Dare to Care

On Friday 29th of September, St. Mary’s College was invaded by Wallies! As part of Today FM’S ‘Dare to Care’ for the Irish Cancer Society, staff and students dressed up in ‘Where’s Wally’ costumes. The school was a sea of red and white on Friday as funds were raised for a great cause. At 11 am, five brave souls, raced each other in high heels. Well done to Mr. Hennessy, Mr. Hourihane, Mr. Moran, Mr. O’ Malley and Mr. Whelan for taking part. It was a close race but ultimately Mr. Hourihane and Mr. Whelan were the joint winners! So far we have raised in excess of €2000 for the Irish Cancer Society. Well done to the organisers and all who took part.
