Eighteen TY students went on a trip to Nice, France, on 29^th April – 3^rd May, accompanied by Ms. McEntegart, Ms. Fleming and Mr. Brogan. The girls stayed in the centre of Nice and explored the nearby towns, including Cannes, Grasse, St. Paul de Vence and Monaco. Included in the tour was a visit to a perfumery, where the girls learned about the perfume-making industry, and a walking tour of the Vieille Ville in Nice. They attended language classes at the France Langue language institute and put this into practice during their visit. One student estimated the walking over the five days at a whopping 50km, approximately 10km per day, but of course, there were no complaints! All students are to be complimented on their exemplary behaviour and enthusiasm.
