 The Parents’ Association is a body of parents and guardians of pupils attending St Mary’s College. Their role is to work with the Board of Management, the Principal and Teachers to promote the educational and general welfare of the pupils of the school.

The Association holds its Annual General Meeting at the start of the school academic year and the election of the Parents’ Council takes place at this meeting.

The Council is involved in a number of activities during the year including fundraising, supervision of Saturday study, Fifth Year Mock Interviews, Sixth Year Graduation Mass and arranging talks of interest to parents and guardians.

Christmas 2017 Cake Sale

The Parents' Council organised a cake sale and Christmas hamper raffle on Sunday 3rd December after 11am and 6pm masses. Thanks to all parents and students who baked cakes, cupcakes and delicious breads.bake sale 3a Transition year and 3rd students provided great Christmas cheer with Christmas carols being sung during the sale. All in all a great success, raising over €1,700 in funds to upgrade student canteen facilities.
