The 8th to the 12th of May was Wellbeing Week in St. Mary's. The Wellbeing team had a whole host of great activities planned for the week. These included outdoor activities, a picnic, just dance, a rave, photo booth and a themed rag day. All activities were greatly helped by the wonderful weather each day.
On Friday the 12th, Class 6, the Wellbeing dance was performed by all students on the Astroturf. Luck was with us as the rain held off for the occasion. Each lunchtime during the week, wellbeing leaders were busy in the sports hall, ensuring that all pupils knew the dance. This year Wellbeing Week was recorded as it will be submitted to Cycle Against Suicide 2018 as a student leader project.
Each year group had a colour assigned to it that students wore for the Rainbow Rag Day on Friday the 12th. What a sight is was to see over 1,000 pupils and their teachers dancing on the Astroturf at 1pm. Well done to all Wellbeing leaders and teachers involved in the planning and execution of the week's events.
