St. Mary’s debating team began their year with a debate against Gael-Choláiste Chill Darain the Rigby Jones Memorial Shield on Wednesday 7^th of October.  The team members were Gemma Robotham (team captain), Aoife Ryan and Aoife Lynch. The girls worked very hard in their preparation for the opening debate and were very entertaining and humorous on the night. The team emerged  victorious. The next debate will take place on Wednesday 21^st October. Thanks to Ms. McLoughlin for her assistance in preparing the team.
