Lifeskills Trip to Dublin

Lifeskills Trip to Dublin: On Wednesday the 16th of May the first and second year Life Skills classes went on an educational day trip to Dublin. Our first stop was to EPIC. For those who have never heard of EPIC lifeskills tripait’s an Irish Emigration Museum. It is the world’s only fully digital museum. It explores 1500 years of Irish history in a really interesting way. We learned lots about our greatest achievements in music, literature, sport, politics, fashion and science. Following our visit from EPIC we enjoyed a tasty picnic sitting in the sun in Merrion square. Our final stop of the day was to step on board the Jeanie Johnson tall ship and famine museum. We went down below deck and learned a fascinating story informing us as to why the ship is so famous. Overall we had a memorable, fun day. (by Kayleigh, Nicole and Wiktoria)
