Hard luck to the First and Second Year squads who were both very unlucky in their recent narrow defeats by Cross and Passion Kilcullen. Both teams have been putting in huge efforts in training which was 
quite evident in their comprehensive victories over Presentation College Thurles and Rathangan. Keep up the good work ladies and best of luck for the rest of the season. Many thanks to Mr. Whelan for all his work with the team.
7 All Island Volleyball titles for St. Mary's
Congratulations to St. Mary's U17 Volleyball team who were crowned All Island Champions during the Easter holidays by overcoming Dalriada school, Ballymoney in a cracking final in Northern Ireland. 
Dalriada took the first set, but St. Mary's, showing real determination, won the second, third and fourth sets to take the title, 26-24, 24-26, 18-25, 19-25. Both teams produced a fantastic display of volleyball and huge congrats to St Mary's who now have taken the Senior Girls All Island title 7 years in a row. Well done to all players and coaching staff, and especially Ms. Moloney who has coached all 7 winning teams.
