Strictly come Dancing
2nd year students participated in a dance module in PE called "Dancing Through the Movies". The girls were put into groups whereby they had to create a routine based on a song from the movie they were allocated. The culminating event consisted of each group having to perform in front of a panel of judges "strictly come dancing style". Their routines really impressed the judges and their hard work paid off with excellent performances on the day.
Athletics success
Well done to St. Mary's athletes who competed in the South Leinster Cross Country Championships which were held in Good Counsel College, New Ross recently. The Intermediate Team who were placed 2nd, and Amy Lewis in 1st year, qualified for the Leinster Cross Country Championships.
