St. Mary's got their new season's campaign off to a very good start with two great performances in recent weeks. The team's first match was against St. Dominic's, Cabra. Scores from Cera Kenny and Grace Kielty gave St. Mary's a four point lead at half time. After the break, both teams played gave it their all and  a goal by Róisín Tobin gave St. Mary's a four point victory.

The second match for the team was a home venue in Naas GAA against Dominican College. Goals by Tara Doorey, Róisín Tobin and Aoife McCarthy saw St. Mary's leading by two points at half time. On  the  resumption of play, Dominican College got an early goal but this was matched by St. Mary's with points from Deirdre Doyle and Sara Carroll. The final whistle sounded to leave the match a 3-3 draw. Well done to all involved.

Equestrian 2016-2017

On the 23rd October last, St Mary's equestrian teams took part in a competition at Coilog. Ruth Sargent won the individual competition.

In the Open Compettition Amy Slattery, Emer Hegarty and Maria Lee were placed 2nd and in the Novice section St. Mary's team of Sinead Baker, Niamh Lawless and Meagan Fleming were placed 4th.
