St. Mary's Junior Camogie team have secured their place in an All Ireland Semi Final. The girls played Clarin College in Ballinasloe on Monday 15th February.  The skill and team work displayed by St. Mary's was outstanding. St. Mary's started strong and were leading 4-9 to 0-1 at halftime. The game finished up an impressive 11-19 to 0-2 in favour of St. Mary's. Excellent performances were displayed by everyone on the day especially from Laoise Dunne, Tara Bedford, Cera Kenny, Caoimhe Maher and Deirdre Doyle. The girls will now play Killaloe in the All Ireland Semi Final.

Congratulations to St. Mary's  senior cross-country team who came third in the recent All-Ireland Cross Country Championships in Sligo

Congratulations to all the girls who competed in the South Leinster Cross-Country athletics 14Championships in Laois on 27th January.  The minor team performed really well with outstanding performance by Eabha Gilroy and Niamh Delaney.  In the junior race Hazel McLoughlinathletics 13 led the team home in second place overall and was closely followed by Abigail Dunne, Maria Flynn, Alice Sheehan and Katie Walsh.  In the senior race Ruth O’Hara and Siobhan Delaney came second and third respectively; and were closelyathletics 12 followed by Anna Cleary and Aishling Roche.  Both the junior and senior teams have now qualified for the athletics 11Leinster cross-country championships on 10th February.
